Christopher O’Brien attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida, graduating in 1996 Magna Cum Laude with both a BA and a BS. While at Stetson, Christopher lived and studied for a year in Dijon, France.
Christopher then attended The University of Florida College of Law, during which time he spent a semester studying at the prestigious University of Montpellier College of Law in Montpellier, France.
After graduating with his Juris Doctor degree in 2000, Christopher was admitted to The Florida Bar on September 14, 2000. He began at the Office of the Public Defender in 2001, then spent 4+ years honing his skills as a trial lawyer.
In private practice since June 2005, Christopher has been lead counsel in multitudes of various jury and non-jury trials. Christopher was admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Middle District of Florida in 2009.
Christopher devotes his practice to Criminal Defense, Post-Conviction Relief, and Personal Injury matters.

During his tenure at Murty & Monk, P.A. between Jul 2006 and Feb 2007, Patrick broadened his legal horizons, taking on cases related to Wills & Trusts, Landlord Tenant Law, and Probate.
Serving at the Law Offices of the Public Defender, 20th Judicial Circuit from Feb 2007 to Dec 2010, Patrick played a pivotal role as an Assistant Public Defender in the Felony Track, standing steadfast in defense of the rights of those facing serious charges.
